Healing Touch comes from the Nursing Faculty, of the University of Tennessee (Janet Mentgen was the founder of the Foundation for Healing Touch).
Therapeutic Touch comes from the Nursing Faculty, University of New York, in the 70s and was founded by Dolores Kreiger and Dora Kunz.

Because they come from nursing, both modalities are research based. The techniques work on the aura and chakras and are a powerful form of vibrational or energy healing.
